Growing up in the heart of Cajun country, Mandi was taught a love and appreciation for food at an early age. From riding in the crawfish boat with her grandfather to spending days in the kitchen with mom, she learned what it meant to put your heart into the food that you prepare for the people you love. After college and a few years of working in restaurants around the country, she came to New Orleans, wanting to be closer to home. At Coquette, she found that home, where Chef Michael pours the same love into his cooking that she knew as a child and where every guest is family.
